Oya is the first app to find and support women owned businesses, near you. It’s OYA’s mission is to connect the existing 11 million businesses led by badass women, to conscious consumers to fill the gender gap. The app is currently in beta, and will launch publically the first quarter of next year. I was involved in the brand development, communication, campaign building, visual identity, social media strategy, and ambassador program. It is a powerful initiative that is close to my heart as the brand aims to fill the gender gap in an innovative, much needed and refreshing way. By inspiring people to support women owned businesses and make these businesses findable through the app, entrepreneurship becomes the key change maker to even out inequality.
